Editorial policy
Lasting Leisure Guide aims to make leisure choices easier to understand, not to sell one ideal of free time. We distinguish explanation from opinion, show the limits of advice and correct material when it is wrong or misleading.
Accuracy and independence
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and take care with dates, definitions and claims about how an activity works. Where a point is uncertain or depends on context, we say so. Editorial decisions and conclusions belong to the publication; commercial interest is not a reason to favour a product, service or pastime.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article and the detail in question. We review specific, actionable reports and amend material when warranted, making a clear note where a correction changes a reader's understanding. We do not promise that every disagreement will lead to a change, but we take substantiated concerns seriously.
Partner material
Paid collaborations, supplied material and other partner relationships are identified clearly wherever they appear. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable verdict or control over independent editorial coverage. We decline arrangements that would make the nature of a recommendation unclear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. We label such images where appropriate and do not present an illustration as documentary evidence of a real person, place or event.
